Line Cook

Our Line cooks work with some of the best food in the market. Our AAA beef is hand selected for its consistent quality and all strip-loins and tenderloins are trimmed in-house. Our truly internationally styled menu offers items traditionally developed from areas across the globe while offering some of the best home grown product available.

The structure of our kitchens has been amended and improved as our business has grown to reach a point where they function as a well oiled machine.

With up to eight stations in the kitchen there is room for continual learning or focus on a particular area to develop a specific skill. Most Line cooks will begin on Salads and move through the kitchen gaining exposure to all aspects of our menu and cooking methods. With the rapid development of our organization, those who excel in all areas often go on to the position of Chef of their own Ric’s Grill restaurant.

All cooks are given the opportunity to take the Ric’s Grill Apprenticeship Program at any of our locations.

Typical duties of a Line cook include:

  • Setting up your station to ensure it is completely organized and ready for the shift ahead.

  • Cooking meals to order in a timely manner while maintaining consistently high quality standards.

  • To clean and sanitize the kitchen at the end of the shift.

The ideal candidate will have 1 – 2 years experience and be looking to develop a career in the hospitality industry.

Compensation is negotiable, dependant on experience.
