Prep Cook
Our Prep cooks gain exposure to a truly international array of
menu items and hold a primary responsibility for ensuring quality
and consistency. We proudly invest more into the preparation of our
meals than any other restaurant in our class and when describing our
sauces, the word ‘house-made’ will be seen on the typical menu a
dozen times.
We believe this is a great environment for the career minded cook to
use the experience to work towards their Red Seal by enrolling in
the Ric’s Grill Apprenticeship Program.
Typical duties include:
- Accepting, checking and storing deliveries
- Working with others to prepare sauces, dressings, soups,
vegetables, poultry, meat, seafood and fish.
- Ensuring the kitchen is maintained at a consistently high
level of sanitation and cleanliness
The ideal candidate will have 1 – 2 years experience and be
looking to develop a career in the hospitality industry.
Compensation is negotiable, dependant on experience.
